"If she dies, you're going to be charged with the murder of a federal agent, you do realize that?"
"She attacked me first, I acted in self defence," Faith said with a dizzy look. She dug her fingernails into her own wounds as she sat up, now more alert. "I didn't murder anyone," she lied though a happy smile.

"She attacked me first, I acted in self defence," Faith said with a dizzy look. She dug her fingernails into her own wounds as she sat up, now more alert. "I didn't murder anyone," she lied though a happy smile.
"Try convincing that to a jury." Booth muttered. He cared alot about Relic. Not as much as she did him, but enough to go alpha male if someone threatens her. Plus, this Faith girl was starting to grate on his last nerve. He'd do everything in his power to make sure that she never got off on self defence.
They arrived at the hospital finally. "Bones..." He said. He needed to take Relic in, so that he could use his badge if necessary. But he didn't want to leave Faith and Bones alone. "Could you stay in here with her while I bring Relic in?"
He put one arm under Relic's knees and the other supporting her head, then rushed inside. "I need a doctor quick!" Many doctor's rushed over. As he tried to follow Relic, some nurses informed him he'd have to wait.
He gave his name and number and told them to call him hourly to tell him how she was. They were hesitant, but it was amazing how much someone would do for a man with a badge.
He went out and hopped in front with Brennan. "Okay, let's take her to the Hoover." He said to Brennan.

He went out and hopped in front with Brennan. "Okay, let's take her to the Hoover." He said to Brennan.
Faith sat up rightly in the car. "To the where?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. She had sat silently while they waited for Booth to come back but she was getting bored. She leaned forward, her wounds beginning to clot.
She smiled sweetly at Booth and asked if his friend would be alright. After all, she had helped 'save' the little boy.
All of a sudden, Faith remembered her dagger. She bit her lip and checked to make sure neither of the agents were looking before stashing it in the wedge betwee the car seats.

Faith sat up rightly in the car. "To the where?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. She leaned forward, her wounds beginning to clot.
"The Hoover. It's a federal building." He said, explaining. he looked at Bones. "You know what? This is my car, I'm driving." He switched seats with her and started driving to the Hoover building.
She smiled sweetly at Booth and asked if his friend would be alright. After all, she had helped 'save' the little boy.
He really wanted to get this girl, and good. Her fake sweetness annoyed him to no end. But he wouldn't let it get to him. He wouldn't have another clown incident.
"I'm afraid that's classified information." He said.
They arrived at the Hoover and he requested an interrogation room. He was given number 5.
Once they got in, her sat the girl down and stood in front of her. "Okay Faith. Let's hear your side of what happened."

Faith smiled. "Well, fifrst she stopped me in the street when I was putting my mobile away. She seemed to think it was a knife," she began confidently. She had been workingonher story for a while. "Then, I saw someone trying to harm a teenage boy, I told myself that this would just not do," she continued, putting on the dramatics. "So I saved the boy and then your 'friend' threatened to shoot me, so really, I was acting in self defence," she finished with an innocent look.

Faith smiled. "Well, fifrst she stopped me in the street when I was putting my mobile away. She seemed to think it was a knife," she began confidently.
Booth scoffed. "Wonder why." he muttered.
"Then, I saw someone trying to harm a teenage boy, I told myself that this would just not do," she continued, putting on the dramatics. "So I saved the boy and then your 'friend' threatened to shoot me, so really, I was acting in self defence," she finished with an innocent look.
"Uh huh," He said. He took a note of the story. It sounded true, but there was something about her that didn't make her seem truthful.
"Faith, are you aware that if you are lying, it is obstruction if justice?" He asked. "Sometimes, the punishment for obstruction is as bad as if you'd committed the crime yourself." He told her. then he gave her a charm smile. "I'm required to tell everyone that Faith. Don't take it personally."
He wasn't required to tell them that, but perhaps it would get her to fess up a little. Either way, if he could prove her story was false, and Relic was correct, then he could get her on obstruction, assault of a federal agent, just plain assault, and possibly connect her to some other crimes.
Then his cell rang. Caller id dubbed them DC general. He pulled Brennan into the hall, unwilling to leave her with Faith, and answered "Booth."
"Agent Booth, this is Doctor Kingston from DC General. I was told to call you. Agent Relic has recieved severe stab wounds in her upper and lower back. She'll make a full recovery, but it will be a few weeks."
he breathed a sigh of relief. Then an idea struck him. "Doc, do you know how those wounds would have been made. Like, if Agent Relic was running, away from her attacker possibly?"
"Certainly. She was running, then was struck multiple times and finally went down. The attacker would have had to stand on top of her, put about half he weight on the middle of Relic's rib cage, and that would have been about 85 pounds or so. Then Relic turned around, whether on her own or by being turned over, i can't tell, but she was stabbed then as well."
Faith looked to be around 170. It would fi perfectly. And if the scenario was correct, then Faith would never get out on defense charges.
"Doc, was there any way the attacker was attacking in defense?"
"From these wounds? No, the attacker was definitely the first one to attack. Relic may not have even touched anyone."
Faith had no marks on her, other than a few cuts and bruises.
"Thank you doctor. I'll call you if i have any more questions. Oh by the way, are my partner and I allowed to visit her?"
The doctor hesitated. "Only you two." He agreed.
"Thanks Doc." And he hung up. He grinned at Brennan. "The doctor said that with her wounds, there was no way the attacker did so out of defence."

Faith stared politely at the agent. He seemed to know that she was lying. She decided that she could have killed him if she had wanted but she didn't have the strength anymore. That wound from being stabbed in the shoulder by Relic didn't seem to be getting any better. Booth didn't seem to have noticed it either.
"I know that lying is bad," she murmered as he dragged his partner out of the room. She felt her eyelids become heavy. Faith slumped and fell from the seat to the floor in an arkward heap. Her shirt straps her stopping her wound from clotting properly. Blood leaked out onto the floor creating a puddle around her.

Booth walked into the interrogation room, handcuffs out, when he saw Faith collapsed in a pool of blood. Booth rushed over and checked her pulse. She was alive.
He applied pressure and threw the keys to Brennan. "You drive." He told her.
'Man, two trips to the hospital in not even as many hours. I think it's a record.' He thought to himself.

Faith's eyes were racing under her closed lids. Her heart was pounding too quickly. She tried to make herself breath deeply but even that was stopping. She couldn't open her eyes let alone move. She couldn't feel anyone near her and it was getting harder to think throough the pain.

When Brennan didn't answer right away, he picked Faith up and dragged Brennan out. He threw her in the driver's seat and placed Faith in the back, where he stayed himself to watch Faith. Her breathing was slowing and he muttered "Stay with me Faith, stay with me."

Faith could slightly hear the voice of the angent, Booth, that wass his name. But it was getting softer and softer. Her head lolled to the side a little and her body went completely limp.
