Shelby rode up on her Yamaha Star. She turned it off and stood, stretching. Shelby was wearing black leather chaps over tight jeans, and a black leather jacket over a white spaghetti strap. She smiled as she walked in and looked around.
Any home?? Shelby called.

Brennan ran from her office and nearly slid into Shelby "Hello, yeah were home... nothing much to do" she sighed and shuffled "Would you like a cup of tea, or a drink of Vodka, Ange left it in the fridge upstairs" Bones asked, she didn't know much about Shelby, but Booth said she was a really keen FBI Agent one of the best in her class.

Booth stuck his head in. "We have vodka? And no one told me? Well that's mean of them..." He said. He caught sight of Shelcy and winked, grinning. "Hey Shelb" He greeted. "Whatcha up to?"

Shelby smiled and nodded her head.
I think I'll have a vodka, so I can forget all about the funeral. Oh and thanks for the offer. She replied.
Shelby knew that Bones was going to be a grand freind. Even Booth, of course. But now she needed a vodka.

"Come one" Brennan unfolded her never folded arms and ran upstairs pulling glasses out from a compartment in the coffee table, she then pulled out a freezer draw and pulled out the bottle of Vodka "If they knew this was here.. well" She flopped down on the couch and poured 3 glasses.

When Bones left, he sat in a chair next to Shelby. "I'm sorry." He said sincerely. "May I ask who died?"
Bones came in with the drinks and he took one from her. "Gracias me amiga!" He said, winking.

Shelby got this far off look in her eyes, then she came back to earth.
Rebecca. My best friend in the army with me. We were going out, hiding behind one of their abandoned tanks. The man shot her from behind. Only gave me one choice, to shoot the sucker myself. Then I took Rebecca back to camp, even though she was long gone. She said.
Shelby then took a drink of vodka.

Bones sipped her drink in silence, not really knowing what to say to Shelby, either she would say something right or get whacked by Booth, if she said anything wrong.
Brennan looked away a moment "Well then, better drink in her honor huh?" she lifted her glass and waited for Shelby to do he toast.

Shelby smiled and lifted her glass.
To a best friend snice Pre school! She said.
After Shelby finished her toast, she took a drink. This drink really was in honor for Rebecca, they had made a goal to stay in the army for three years. Because of that man, she didn't last most of their first year.

He drank to Rebecca with Shelby and Brennan, and said "I'm bored. Brennan knows what I'm going to do now, suggest a game!" He grinned. "Anyone up for truth or dare?"

Shelby chuckled. She listened to Booth ask Bren the question, then her answer was still being waited on. Sometimes when you have feelings for one person you might still have feelings for another as well.
